MTV has always been a channel to educate the youth of America about pressing issues such as male and female sexual health. They are rejuvenating this idea with a new campaign to help get sexual health questions back on the minds of teens. Their goal is to make teens more vocal about their concerns. The problem is that no young person wants to ask their parents about gonorrhea, herpes, yeast infections or broken condoms so nothing is said.

The MTV campaign partnered with SpinVox and Causes on Facebook in an effort to educate the truths behind Aids, sexual safety and STDs. Being called Stand by What You Say, those interested can visit the website through MTV, post questions and stories and then in an open forum setting read responses with complete anonymity. There will also be a toll free phone line teens can call.

All female and male sexual health stories or questions are welcomed. Have a great story about a weird place you had sex in that will work. The idea is to lessen taboos about male and female sexual health so teens can make the right decisions.
